Located 80 km south of Chania South coast of Crete and 13 km east of Sfakia. In front of the legendary castle stretches a vast sandy beach with shallow waters ideal for families with children. It is very well organized beach with restaurants, cafes, bars, deck chairs, umbrellas, etc. To get driving from Chania you need to take the National Road Chania - Heraklion exit from taps and follow the road to Sfakia (Sfakia) . You will pass the plateau Askifou after the impressive gorge of Imbros, which ends on the south coast of Sfakia. Then, follow the signs to Frangokastello. The journey takes 1 hour and 20 minutes. If you drive from Rethymnon, follow the road to Plakias and Plakias before continue east to Peach, Fragokatelo and Sfakia. Frangokastello connected by bus to Chania.
