Sailing Holidays in Panagia Arkoudiotissa Cave
Panagia Arkoudiotissa Cave or Arkoudospilios (Bear Cave) is located about 2 kilometers north of famous Gouverneto Monastery. The cave is famous for a stalagmite that looks like a crouching bear, and hence the name of the cave Arkoudospilios. According to local legend, a bear lived in the cave and drank the water dripping from the stalactites.
