The small settlement of Vrsi, situated on a peninsula which marks the end of north Dalmatia mainland, is only 20 km away from Zadar and 6 km away from Nin. We recommend this location if you wish to spend a quiet family vacation and because of its beautiful beaches it is ideal if you are travelling with children. If you enjoy an active vacation than soccer and basketball courts are at your disposal. Because of a daily mistral (maestral) surfing conditions are excellent and the adventurers can try driving across the hill routes. While walking about take a look at the churches in the centre or try some of the specialities of Dalmatian cuisine in one of the local restaurants and taverns out of which we recommend Karoca, Antonio and Mate. Also treat yourself with domestic homemade wine, schnapps and olive oil from one of the local producers, and end your day by visiting one of the local bars and refresh yourself with a drink. The vicinity of several national parks: Kornati, Plitvice lakes, Paklenica, nature parks Telascica e Vransko lake, old historic towns of Zadar, Nin and Biograd and the island of Pag will give you an opportunity to pass your time in some of the most beautiful environments.
