Sidrište Žalić, a bight on the SW coast of Otok Silba, is entered between Rt Pocukmark (44°22′N 14°42′E) and a point about 1½ miles NNW. Žalić, about half mile N of Rt Pocukmark, is the W and lesser harbour for the village of Silba. Luka Papranica is a small deserted cove about 1 mile farther NNW. Anchorage in the vicinity of Žalić is fouled by a number of submarine cables laid NW to Otok Lošinj and WSW to Otok Premuda. Boats can find anchorage in Luka Papranica in about 5 m.
