Luka Žakan is the area enclosed between Otočić Ravni Žakan (43°44′N 15°26′E) and three islets close S comprising: Otočić Kameni Žakan, connected to Otočić Ravni Žakan by a bank with a depth over it of 8·4 m. Otočić Jančar, 20 m high, and Otočić Žakanac, 9 m high, which lie on a bank extending 0. 4 miles NW from Otočić Kameni Žakan. Anchorage may be obtained in the middle of the harbour in depths from 19 to 25 m sand, good holding, but noting that there are reefs near the shore.
