Sailing Holidays in Košljunski Zaljev
Košljunski Zaljev is entered between Rt Zminka (44°22′N 15°06′E) and Rt Tihovac, 1½ miles NW. Košljun has a small harbour protected by an angled mole, which is situated in front of the village, near the N end of the bay. A light is exhibited from the molehead. Uvala Mlinica lies at the SE end of the bay. A ruin stands on the NE shore about 1 mile E of Rt Tihovac. Anchorage may be obtained in fine weather, but during SW, S, and SE winds which raise considerable seas, anchorage is dangerous. Suitable anchorages are:
0. 8 miles E of Rt Tihovac, in 18 to 23 m over a bottom of a thin layer of sand over rock, bad holding.
Off the mole at Košljun, noting that S winds render this anchorage dangerous.
