Luka Ravnik (43°01′⋅2N 16°13′⋅6E) is situated between Otočić Ravnik and the coast of Otok Vis. The roadstead is exposed to N and SW winds which cause heavy seas. The recommended anchorage is NW of the centre of Otočić Ravnik in about 20 m, good holding. Small vessels may anchor in the innermost part of the harbour during a Bora with hawsers to the shore, but this anchorage is dangerous in a Scirocco. Anchorage elsewhere on the S coast of Otok Vis. During a Bora temporary sheltered anchorage can be found under the coast, but the anchor must be dropped very close inshore.
