Sailing Holidays in Starogradski Zaljev
Starogradski Zaljev (43°12′N 16°33′E) open NW is entered between Rt Kabal and the E entrance point of Uvala Lučišće, 1¼ miles SW. The town and port of Stari Grad lies at the head of the bay on the SE side, around the shores of a narrow, shallow inlet entered between Rt Fortin and a point close N on which there are several hotels. Anchorage may be obtained during the Bora season in Luka Tiha, where the shore is indented by a number of coves, and in Luka Zavala, 1¼ miles NW of Rt Fortin. In S winds they can moor in Uvala Gračišće, about 2140 meters miles WNW of Rt Fortin, on the S side of the bay. Berths may also be found in Stari Grad, where there are bollards on both sides of the inlet to which vessels may secure head and stern.
