Sailing Holidays in Uvala Stari Trogir

Uvala Stari Trogir (43°29′N 16°02′E), the largest and best of the bays in the W approaches to Drvenički Kanal, is entered E of Oštrica. A number of islets, of which Otočić Arkanđel is the largest, lie in the approach to the bay. The sides of the bay, which is almost deserted, are steep and rocky. Vessels may anchor in about 20 to 30 m in the NE part of the bay, sand, sheltered from the Bora, the Scirocco and all but W winds; a recommended anchorage lies with the ruins on Otočić Arkanđel aligned with Otočić Merara, with, in a Bora, a hawser to the shore NE. In SW winds anchorage may be obtained under the coast of Otočić Arkanđel in 14 to 26 m, coarse sand, with a hawser to the shore.
