Uvala Borovica and Uvala Kanica (43°30′N 16°00′E) are two coves at the N and NE heads respectively of a bay entered between Rt Ploča and Turski bok (Rt Turski Bok), about 1¼ miles ESE. The bay has steep rocky sides. Otočić Melevrin is situated in the entrance. Local knowledge is required. Uvala Borovica affords sheltered anchorage, from all except S winds. Depths are considerable except at the head.
