Sailing Holidays in Uvala Stara Novalja

Uvala Stara Novalja (44°36′N 14°52′E) is entered SW of Rt Deda. A light is exhibited from the E entrance point to the bay, on the NE coast of Otok Pag. The village of Stara Novalja, lies along the NE side of the inlet and is bordered at its NW end by a small harbour protected by an angled mole and a pier. The best anchorage is close W of the small harbour in 27 to 38 m in sand and mud, good holding, with hawsers to the shore NE. Small vessels can anchor in the NW part of Uvala Drljanda, the small bay immediately S of the light-structure, with hawsers to the shore NE, convenient in a Bora. Anchorage may also be obtained in the SE part of the inlet but there are no bollards ashore and depths are shallow for about 0. 3 miles from the head.
