Bakar-Petrolejska Luka on the SW side of Bakarski Zaljev, extends either side of Rt Zrni (45°17′·6N 14 33′·5E) and consists of an oil refinery, a fuel depot, and a number of berths to which vessels secure stern-to or alongside, for the discharge/loading of crude oil and refined derivatives. Anchorage may be obtained 450 meters ESE of the head of the basin in 22 to 27 m, good holding, suitable in fine weather.
