Marina Umag is the most northerly of the ACI government-owned chain of marinas. Situated at the NW corner of the bay of Umag, it is the first marina and harbour a yacht will encounter on crossing the border from Slovenia on the way south and is a port of entry. It lies around six miles SW of the Slovenian port of Portoroz and ten miles N of the Croatian harbour of Novigrad. Marina Umag offers 494 berths for yachts up to 20 metres in depths of up to 5. 0 metres. It can also accommodate around 90 yachts on land for winter storage.
