Uvala Paltana (44°49′N 13°52′E), a narrow inlet separated from Uvala Valmižeja (44°48′N 13°52′E) by a high ridge, affords shelter to coasters from all except SW winds. A hamlet lies on the N side of the cove. Anchorage may be obtained in depths of about 4 m mud good holding.
