Karbuni anchorage (42°55′N 16°44′E) lies in the channel between Otočić Zvirinovik and the S coast of Otok Korčula. The anchorage can be entered from SE or NW and for this reason is generally preferred by vessels weatherbound in this area of the Adriatic, enabling them to leave in any weather. Uvala Zaglav is situated at the NW end of the channel. Anchorage, sheltered from all winds and sea, can be found in 20 to 25 m, sand and weed good holding, abreast some dwellings on Otok Korčula, near the centre of the channel.
