Kioni Harbor
Exploring Ithaca Sailing Holidays area
The N coasts of the head of the bay Kióni are quayed for 140 m with depths of 1.6–0.8 m near them. A mole that extends for about 30 m to the SW starts from the E end of the quay. On its outer side there is a parapet 0.90 m high and protective natural boulders while at its head a light operates.
Depths near the inner side of the mole are 5.5 m at the end, decreasing gradually to 1 m at the root. Almost in the middle of the NW shores there is a T-shaped jetty that extends for about 15 m to the SE. In daytime, it can be identified by the ruins of three mills inland near cape Psigádi.
