Small harbor Alípa (Palaiokastrítsas) has an entrance opening of 60 m and depths of 5.1 m at the axis, decreasing towards the inside. At the SE end of the cove lies a mole extending N for 92 m. Its outer side is protected by a rock ballasting. A quay extending W for 110 m starts from the root of the mole.
In the middle of the quay there are two wooden jetties, 35 m apart, extending N for 65 m. The W coasts of the small harbor are sandy, with above- and below-water rocks and depths of less than 1 m within 20 m offshore. The N coasts are rocky and cliffy.
