Rafina-Pikermi lies east of the Penteli mountains and northeast of the Mesogeia plain with an area of farmland near the coastline to the north. The Cephissus River lies to the west. Rafina is about 30 km east of downtown Athens and attracts tourists due to its beautiful beaches and the abundant green while the port of Rafina is next to Piraeus port in importance.
Navigational Aids
It is an artificial port that is open to the east. It consists of two parts, the north (new) port and the south (old) port, which are divided by the central mole that extends to the east for 65 meters.
Sandy beach about 400 meters in length located approximately 1.5 kilometers north of the port of Rafina and 29 kilometers east of Athens city center.
Near the coastal town of Rafina, about 32 km northeast of Athens Rich sand about 700 meters in length located approximately 1.5 kilometers south of the port of Rafina.
Microscopic well hidden beach located 26 kilometers east of Athens city center and less than a kilometer north of the port of Rafina, on the way to the famous Red Harbour. At the end of the main street of Rafina, turn left and follow the coast road, before the Red Harbour.
