The official name of the beach is Souvlia but the locals call it Dolphin, the namesake, cozy cafe that operates in the sand. Travelling on the main road, just exit the Parikia and towards the west must have your mind once you pass the Asklepieion on your left, to see the sign, which simply lists
Beautiful Parasporos Beach, just 3 km south of Parikia, is justifiably one the most popular beaches on the island of Paros. Tucked in a sheltered bay, the long, sandy beach offers an ideal swimming, sunbathing and sporting locale prized by both residents and visitors alike.
The beach of Agios Fokas is situated at a distance of some 6 kilometers far from Paroikia at the North, very close to the homonymous cape at the entrance of the bay of Paroikia. Very close to the beach it is found the small twin church of Agios Sostis and Analipsi, where on the feast of Analipsi it takes place a local feast (“panighyri”).
