Beach Skylou is located about 4 km from Dryopis, on the southeast coast of Kythnos. An isolated beach, the first accessible by road after Panagia Kanala.
Navigational Aids
Small sandy beach, located to the left atrium beneath the church of Panagia Kanala, 16 km southeast of Hora. The shallow waters of the bay are safe for the children.
Beautiful, quiet beach, on the road as we go from Dryopida to Agios Demetrios. A dirt road goes close to the beach.
Beach Trivlaka (Thrice Stupid)is located about 4 km south of Dryopis, on the southwest coast of Kythnos. A tiny beach, at the bottom of two facing slopes that plunge into the sea.
Beautiful, quiet beach, as we go from Dryopida to Agios Demetrios we turn right just before Agios Dimitrios. A dirt road goes close to the beach.
Several remote, isolated beaches in the area of Petra. From Agios Dimitrios you can follow the dirt road.
Secluded beach, 8 km southeast of Dryopida, between Skylos and Gantromantra beach. There is no any kind of organization at the beach, so you should arrange for the necessary.
Beach Lefkes is located 2,5 km northeast of Dryopida and next to the homonymous village. Sand, pebbles and enough shade from trees.
Beach Flampouria is located 3 km southeast of Dryopida, in front of the settlement, with plenty of shade from trees. Sand, pebbles and the church of Panagia Flampouriani which dominating in the middle, dividing the beach into two parts.
Named after the seaside chapel of Agios Dimitrios, near the homonymous village, this quiet beach invites travelers to succumb into the crystalline sapphire waters and sunbathe while laying on the thick sand under the sun kissed sky or enjoy the natural shade under a tamarisk tree. Even though the beach offers easy access it is not considered a popular beach destination and is usually uncrowded.
