Almyrida beach is ideal for families with little children due to the beach provides everything they need. There are tavernas and little cafe bars along the sea.
The weather is usually fine, so visitors can have a sea kayaking trip. Route starts from Almyrida, passing by wonderful beaches and coves and ends at Kalyves.

Panagia Arkoudiotissa Cave or Arkoudospilios (Bear Cave) is located about 2 kilometers north of famous Gouverneto Monastery. The cave is famous for a stalagmite that looks like a crouching bear, and hence the name of the cave Arkoudospilios.
