Small harbor of Alepochori is in the S part of the bay, immediately E of cape Loútsa. Its entrance is 25 m wide, open E. It is protected by two moles. The N mole, made of natural boulders, extends E for about 100 m and has a light at its head (38°05´.4 N – 023°11´.2 E). The S mole extends N for about 40 m and has a light at its head.
Caution is needed because of shoals extending for about 10 m S of the head of the N mole, which cover and uncover and limit the navigable width to 6 m. The shoals are marked by a steel pile on top of which a yellow flashing light operate. (Private light). Depths along the entrance axis are 1.3–1.8 m, near the quayed coasts they are less than 1 m.

Navigational Aids
At a distance of 1 mile W of cape Mavrolímni the namesake lake is formed, with a road right on its shore. It owes its name (meaning "black lake") to its volcanic, dark bottom.
Located 14km from the center of the municipality is the tourist resort of Agios Vassilios, access is from Kaparelli. Small beautiful village built at the outlet of a valley.
Do not descend to Porto Germeno, but continue right into Port-White House-Prosili when the tarmac ends another 100 meters you will reach a small creek with trees that cover the beach. Park within 5 meters of water.
A small organized beach with pebbles and sand, lies between the village and harbor of Porto Germeno. You should go down some stairs to reach the beach.
