At the middle entrance of the cave there is the chapel of Panagia Agiogalousaina, built in the 13th century. It is basically a group of three caves which are on top of one another.The lowest and largest cave includes a corridor 220 meters long with a labyrinthine and magnificent stalactite. The excavations revealed discoveries of great archaeological value dating back to the Neolithic period.
