Located exactly where the Dodecanese meet the Cyclades, the island of Astypalaia boasts a centuries-old history, whitewashed villages and sun-drenched beaches. The island clusters of the Dodecanese and Cyclades, each of which have their own identifying characteristics, meet in Astypalaia to create a unique result. Once upon a time the castle of Astypalaia had a key used to lock the island's belles in and out of visitors’ reach.
