Sailing Holidays in Ancient Theater of Epidaurus

The Theater of Epidaurus was built in 340 BC. It is situated in the archaeological site of the Sanctuary of Asklepios, a half-hour away from Nafplio. It could seat 13,000 spectators. It was separated into two parts: 21-rows of seats for the citizens and 34-rows of seats, for the priests and rulers. The amazing acoustics as well as the very well preserved construction, make it one of the most famous places in Greece for many events such as theatrical performances and concerts. The most popular event, Athens and Epidaurus Festival is hosted in Epidaurus Theater. Every summer the festival attracts thousands of people, locals and tourists.
