Immediately south of Skotina and Panteleimonas beaches, Platamonas beach can be found. It is 36 km from Katerini.
Neoi Poroi beach is to be found next to Platamonas and mount Olympus. A wide sandy beach which is very well organized.

The port of Vólos is a well-sheltered artificial port situated at the head of the homonymous bay. The port is the third largest port in Greece (after Peiraiás and ThessalonÃki) and it is the only important port in ThessalÃa.
The small port’s entrance is 50 meters wide and is facing northwest. It is protected from south winds by a windward mole, 130 meters long.
The harbor is open to the southeast, 35 meters wide, and it is protected by a windward outer curved mole. The mole extends to the southwest for 50 meters and its outer side is protected by a slope of masonry.
At the north end of the village Agios Ioannis there is a small port, which is protected by two moles. The east mole is curved and it extends to the southeast for approximately 180 meters.
It is a small port on the shores of settlement Horeftó, protected by a windward curved mole that extends to the east-southeast for about 230 meters. Its entrance is facing southeast, with depths of 5 meters that decrease normally further inside it.
Olympos is the highest mountain in Greece and the second highest mountain in the Balkans. It is about 80 km southeast from Thessaloniki.
