The theater of Volos is situated in Riga Feraiou square and is one of the biggest stages in the Balkans. It can seat 1000 people. It was built in 1897 but has hosted performances since 1955. In these years, it accommodated many of the most famous interpreters of the Greek theater.
At a distance of 7 km south-east of Volos the popular coastal tourist resort of Agria is a modern and dynamic town, full of life all year long. The plethora of coastal taverns, restaurants and refreshment stands offer visitors great gastronomic options as well as relaxation.
Few kilometers after Chrysi Akti and in the direction of Volos, we meet the bight Mamidakis and the settlement of Agios Georgios Kynigon. The settlement has both permanent and seasonal residences along with a calm beach with pebbles and shingles.
