Loutraki is an attractive but often crowded harbor. On the east side of the harbor there is a floating pontoon to which you can moor stern-to using your anchor. Alternatively, you can come stern-to the west quay, north of the ferry boat landing or anchor off if there is room.
The harbor is well protected from the meltemi (the Etesians). The bottom is sand and weeds and provides good holding. The very attractive town of Glossa is about 1 hr. walk up the steep hill.

Beautiful sandy beach located 8 km southwest of the city of Skiathos on the south coast of the island roughly 3 kilometers west of Platanias, on the way to Koukounaries in front of the homonymous tourist resort settlement. Due to its location, the beach is sheltered from north winds.
The beach of Xanemos, a beach with large pebbles, is situated some 3,5 kilometers northeastern to the town of Skiathos, within a cove, at the eastern coast of the island. It owes its name to the fact that it is totally open to the strong northern winds blowing in the area with very cold waters.
Being the first diving school operating on Skiathos since 1990, we can guarantee the best dives around the island. Due to the new diving law in Greece there are no restrictions in regard to the dive sites anymore, so diving is possible everywhere.
