The small port is open to the west-southwest, its penetration to the east-northeast is 0.2 miles and its width reaches 200 meters. Small crafts anchor in the inner part of the port, in depths that vary from 5 to 10 meters on a sandy bottom.
On the south shores of the port there is a 190-meter-long curved quay of southwest direction. In its middle there is a ramp used by local ferries. The depths near the quay vary from 3.4 to 5.5 meters.
The settlement Agnóntas stands inland of the head of the port. On the northeast coast there is a slipway. The port is used by ferries when strong winds prevent the use of the port of Skópelos.
