Located on the right side of the rock, with the famous church of Saint John in Kastri. The sandy beach is actually composed of two small beaches; one provides access by stairs to the chapel on the hill. This is where the marriage in the movie Mamma Mia took place here.
Navigational Aids
Loutraki is an attractive but often crowded harbor. On the east side of the harbor there is a floating pontoon to which you can moor stern-to using your anchor.
Skopelos, the main harbor of the island is a large and lively harbor. With a meltemi (the Etesians) (NE) it can develop an uncomfortable swell, although the harbor remains tenable.
Skiathos marina is the main base for sailing holidays around the Northern Sporades sailing area. It is situated at the north edge of Skiathos' main port.
The graves are parallel to each other and at a relatively short distance with covers of 2.5 meters from separate monolithic plates.
Papadiamanti Street is the most popular street in Skiathos, full of shops, restaurants and bars. The street is really crowded, especially in the summer months.
On the shores of the village Néo KlÃma, the homonymous port is situated. The port is open to the south, 25 meters wide, and it is formed between two moles.
Located two kilometers from the town of Skiathos, Achladies is a large, sandy, fine sand cove with clear and safe waters and suitable for all kinds of water sports. There are several taverns on the beach and supermarkets.
Marpounda is one of the quietest beaches in the island before Great Mourtias. The beach consists of pebbles and black sand and the pine forest leads to the sea.
Vrysitsa beach has fine sand and pebbles with relatively shallow waters for some distance into the sea. .
Small cove with sand and pebbles in the southwest. The small harbor of the town was used as a port of embarkation for the local boat that was performing daily route to Skopelos until the early 1970’s.
Very lovely pebbly beach with crystal clear turquoise waters after Marpounta to the southwest. There are a few taverns with homemade food and fresh fish.
Located between the beaches of Perivoliou and Chondrogiorgi. The name was taken years ago when they found the corpse of a woman who was drowned in a shipwreck (pethameni means deceased).
Chondrogiorgi is a quaint beach located 27 km northwest of Skopelos town. Due to its secluded location, it is not popular to foreign visitors.
Secluded sandy beach, right next to the beach of Perivoliou and surrounded by pine trees reaching the level of the sea with impressive rock formations. Perfect for secluded swimming.
Hovolo is rated among the most beautiful beaches of Skopelos due to its crystal waters and the peaceful environment. It is located at the western coast of the island, 18km from Skopelos town.
Stafylos is just 5 km away from the capital. A nice fish tavern welcomes the visitors and some wooden steps lead down to the lovely pebbled bay with fine grey sand and crystal-clear waters.
Panormos is 18 km from Skopelos. The beach of Panormos is famous, busy with facilities and marine sports available.
Located 14 km from the town of Skopelos, Milia is the most beautiful and largest beach with golden sand in the island. Close to Panormos and Antrines, it is an organized beach which attracts many people, as it offers facilities and water sports.
The beautiful sandy beach of Vasilias is about 5 km southwest of the town of Skiathos after Ftelia. Located in the south, it is sheltered from strong winds.
Small sandy beach located approximately 7 km southwest of the town of Skiathos sheltered from the winds in a small picturesque cove. The crystal clear beach is pretty organized with facilities.
Sandy beach located 7 km southwest of the town of Skiathos, between Sklithri and Kanapitsa beaches. Located in a small and quite cozy cove, it is protected from the wind.
Sandy beach, perhaps the most popular and famous of the island, located 7.5 km southwest of Skiathos town near the picturesque cape of Kalamaki in front of the homonymous small seasonal settlement.
Isolated rocky beach with very few sand just below the famous medieval castle, from where it took its name, located about 13 km north of the town of Skiathos, on the north coast of the island, inside an opening of the northeast cove. At the top of the beach there is a café, a restaurant and a tavern.

The beach of Xanemos, a beach with large pebbles, is situated some 3,5 kilometers northeastern to the town of Skiathos, within a cove, at the eastern coast of the island. It owes its name to the fact that it is totally open to the strong northern winds blowing in the area with very cold waters.

Small sandy pristine beach located about 4 km northeast of the town of Skiathos in the coast of the island. For those who are tired of noisy beaches and need a place to relax, this is a great alternative.
Small pebbly creeks in series in one lovely location just after Panormos and before Milia, approximately 13 km from the town of Skopelos. Most of them are quiet and isolated.

Kastani beach is located at 14 km away from the city of Skopelos and is next to the beach of Milia. It is also called Mamma Mia beach because scenes from the homonymous film were shot here.
Small sandy beach right next to the harbor with umbrellas and sun beds. Perfect for those who prefer their convenience by not leaving town.
Near Panagitsa of Pyrgos. Although not preferred by tourists, this beach is a very good alternative for those who do not want to leave the city.
Not known for the most part to visitors of the island, this is a gorgeous beach with pebbles and sand worthy of a visit. Between Palio and Neo Klima, Armenopetra is ideal for those who seek isolation.
At a distance of 17 km from the town, there is Elios beach and the new settlement Neo Klima founded by the villagers of Kato Klima which was destroyed by landslides. This new village is built at a verdant hillside with great views.
Loutraki is the second harbor of Skopelos and is 28 km from the town. It is the seaport of Glossa and one of the resort places on the island that in recent years has had rapid growth.
Being the first diving school operating on Skiathos since 1990, we can guarantee the best dives around the island. Due to the new diving law in Greece there are no restrictions in regard to the dive sites anymore, so diving is possible everywhere.
