The small port is protected from south winds by a breakwater made of natural boulders that is 10 meters wide and 80 meters long. The breakwater extends to the northwest. The shores of the small harbor on the inner side of the breakwater’s root are quayed and they extend to the west for 750 meters.
Northwest of the head of the breakwater and at a distance of 220 meters there is a 92-meter-long quay with a direction from southwest to northwest. A crane that is used for hauling small boats is located at the root of the northwestern side of the quay.
Approximately 2 km from Agia Marina you will find another lovely sandy beach with spotless waters, Pachia Ammos. The beach is not organized; therefore you must attend to your essentials but it is a good option for a swim while sailing in Greece.
