Anchorage can be obtained between cape Stavrós and the rocky islet Ágios Nikólaos, in depths that vary between 27 and 37 meters. Smaller vessels can anchor in depths of 9 - 18 meters in the middle of the entrance of the bay, on a good-holding bottom. When northwest winds prevail, anchorage can be obtained on the northern shores of the bay, between rocky islets Lagonísi and Ágios Nikólaos.
