0.6 miles north of the small port of Efxinoúpoli, the small port of the settlement Almyrós (6,409 residents) has been constructed. The small port is protected by a breakwater that spans almost 90 meters in length, towards the southeast. Its width is 5 meters and its height is 1 meter. On the outer side of the breakwater, natural boulders have been placed.
The entrance of the small port is open to the south and the depths on the axis of the entrance are about 3 meters. The settlement of Almyrós is located 4 miles west of the small port. The surrounding area is cultivated and large quantities of tobacco, cotton and wheat are produced.

At a distance of 7 km south-east of Volos the popular coastal tourist resort of Agria is a modern and dynamic town, full of life all year long. The plethora of coastal taverns, restaurants and refreshment stands offer visitors great gastronomic options as well as relaxation.
Quiet coastal village with clean coasts and cool turquoise waters. The range of coasts allows for a safe swimming for children, spear fishing at the head of a reef in the middle of the bay and autonomous scuba diving opportunities to explore the wild rocky sea-bottom.
Approximately 2 km from Agia Marina you will find another lovely sandy beach with spotless waters, Pachia Ammos. The beach is not organized; therefore you must attend to your essentials but it is a good option for a swim while sailing in Greece.
Few kilometers after Chrysi Akti and in the direction of Volos, we meet the bight Mamidakis and the settlement of Agios Georgios Kynigon. The settlement has both permanent and seasonal residences along with a calm beach with pebbles and shingles.
