Kokkina Vrachia beach is located on the shoreline of Evros and surrounded by the waters of the northern Aegean, just outside Alexandroupolis, in the west. These small picturesque coves are crowded during the summer months.
The beach of Agia Paraskevi is located 14 kilometers west of the capital city of Evros, near the seaside resort of Makri. The beach of Agia Paraskevi has a plethora of cafes and restaurants, attracting crowds from the capital, who prefer it for its clear blue waters.

The port of Alexandroúpoli is artificial and is located to the eastern side of the homonymous city. There are important commercial activities on the port, because it is the only port that exports products made in Thrace.
