Sailing Tip

At the bay’s Prinos shores there is a 130-metre quay, with a Ro-Ro ramp and a 70-metre long pier, upon the head of which ferryboats that travel from Thásos to Kavála and vice versa usually land.

The depths upon the head are approximately 2.4 m and the bottom of the bay consists of seaweed and mud. In a distance of 0.5 miles northeast of the pier, there are two sunken barges in depths of 2 m.
