Vourvourou is less than10 km from Agios Nikolaos in the peninsula of Sithonia and from the first glance it calms the visitor with its natural serenity. Here you will find shallow warm waters and a series of small, sandy beaches. For these reasons, the area is preferred mainly by families with young children. There are long, fine beaches and pines and across them the islet Diaporos invites you to discover it by boat or simply by swimming across. Circumnavigate the islands of Vourvourou: Diaporos, Ampelitsi and Agios Isidoros. Anchorage at white sandy beaches and deep green, light blue, shallow and almost always quiet waters, surrounded by dense vegetation.
The small port is open to the southwest and covered from the west by a small peninsula of south direction, which is 300 meters long and ends up at cape Néos Marmarás. The opening of the entrance is 200 meters and its penetration to the north is 300 meters.
It is one of the most beautiful and perhaps renown beaches of Chalkidiki, 2 km from the beach of Agios Ioannis and before the busy Kalogrias beach. The waters of Koviou beach are aquamarine, without many rocks, with a fine sand, ideal for endless hours of relaxation or play.
Found between Pyrgos and Ormos Panagias, it is an immense, exotic and quiet sandy beach with spotless waters. The light blue color of the sea, the white sandy coast, the green of the pine forest of Sithonia and the glaucus of classic Mediterranean olive groves blend harmoniously into composing an incredible mosaic of colors.
