The small port is protected from north winds by a windward mole with a parapet of northeast direction, 77 meters long. The outer side as well as the 20-meter- long final part towards its head is made of a slope of masonry and berthing to it is not possible. The depths along and close to the mole are 4.5 meters.
From the root of the mole a 65-meter- long quay of south direction starts, with depths of 4 meters near it. A jetty, 60 meters long and 10 meters wide, starts from the southwest end of the above-mentioned quay. The jetty extends to the southeast and the depths near it are 5 meters. The rest of the coast is not quayed.

Found between Pyrgos and Ormos Panagias, it is an immense, exotic and quiet sandy beach with spotless waters. The light blue color of the sea, the white sandy coast, the green of the pine forest of Sithonia and the glaucus of classic Mediterranean olive groves blend harmoniously into composing an incredible mosaic of colors.
