The coast Aretes is a sandy beach with thick sand deeply penetrating into the sea when there is ebb. It is a big beach 60 meters in width and 600 meters in length with spotless waters in a green all around natural environment. You will also find a volleyball ground on the beach, free areas for sports, while the area and the sea is ideal for marine sports. Some of the most beautiful and deserted beaches of Sithonia are to be found nearby; a series of small coves with crystal clear emerald waters, white sand and few visitors.
Navigational Aids
The small port is open to the southwest and covered from the west by a small peninsula of south direction, which is 300 meters long and ends up at cape Néos Marmarás. The opening of the entrance is 200 meters and its penetration to the north is 300 meters.
Port Koufó is a natural port, with irregular shape, and it consists of three smaller coves. It is open to the southwest.
The small port (marina) Karrá (Pórto Karrá) is formed in the southern part of the sandy beach of the bay of Néos Marmarás. It is an artificial port, suitable for tourist crafts.
At the point where the second “leg” of Chalkidiki ends, there is a narrow band of earth wetted by the sea on both sides. The pristine beach has fine pebbles and no form of organization making it ideal for those who prefer calmness.

Neos Marmaras is the beach of the most cosmopolitan village of Sithonia in Chalkidiki. It combines sand and pebbles on a piney coast.
Following the coastal way from Porto Carras to Agia Kyriaki there is a lot of small deserted coves with beautiful sandy beaches and turquoise waters, for those who prefer isolation. Needless to say, there is no organized beach there, so you should bring along all the necessities.
The islets of Anagnostou, Philippidis and Kolomparou, compose the Spalathronisia complex, a series of lovely, small, isolated beaches and clusters of small islands ideal for diving. The visitor can visit these coasts by boat and enjoy the crystal-clear blue sea and the golden sun.
Beach between olive groves and a few pines. The area is a sandy band of ground; when not covered with waters, it allows you to walk to the small peninsula-island, called Pounta, or Gerochristo, as it is called by the locals.

The beach of Tristinika is one of the most beautiful and biggest in Greece. At the end of the beach you can find sun beds and umbrellas.
Toroni is a big sandy beach. At the various beach bars you can enjoy coffee, drinks or a snack with a free of charge sun bed.
The beach of Porto Koufo, is found next to the homonymousous settlement. The area has an impressive beauty, with huge rocks raised above a gulf, which resembles a lake, because of the small opening to the sea.
