Sailing Tip

The small port of Néa Skióni has been constructed in front of the namesake village. It is protected by a 360-meter-long windward angled mole of southwest direction and a 100-meter-long leeward breakwater made of natural boulders, which extends to south. Lights are exhibited from their heads, a green one from starboard and a red one from portside for incoming vessels.

The inner side of the windward mole that is quayed, with depths of about 4 meters near the west side, which decrease normally to its base, is usually used by local vessels.
