The village of Karavostamo is located east of Evdilos, the second port of Ikaria, and counts on a nice and well reputed long beach with sand and pebbles, and crystal clear water like most Greek islands. Karavostamo beach can be reached either by the 2 km gravel road, or by the 1 km old foot path.

On Ikaria Island, tourists can enjoy the solitude of Kiparisi Beach. Kiparisi offers tranquil blue limpid waters contrasting with the hills behind the beach, full of lush green vegetation.

Miliopo beach is a secluded beach, which is not even listed on the maps, and for which there is very little available information. The fact of not being so popular obviously guarantees its privacy and quietness.

The secluded beach of Prioni is located at 1 kilometre east of Agios Kirikos, close to the road leading to Therma. It is made of sand and pebbles and is surrounded by orange cliffs, which offer the possibility to dive from heights of 12 metres.

Located in the city of Therma, Ikaria's center for radioenergic therapeutic hot mineral springs spa therapy. Therma Beach is easily accessible and ideal for older persons and families.

Iero Beach is located in the uppermost northwest corner of Ikaria behind the airport and near Faros. It is one of the island's least known beaches owning to the fact that until recently there was no road access.

Located on the southeast side of the island and is easily accessible. It is the longest beach on the island, with tamarisks along the coast.

Xylosyrtis is a peaceful, long, pebble-rock beach. There is a small pier at the access to the beach which is ideal for fishing and a small cantina on the beach serves refreshments during the summer.
