The harbor of Olympiáda is protected from north winds by a windward curved breakwater that extends to the northeast for 70 meters and then heads to the northwest for 50 meters. A light is exhibited from its head. West of the harbor, at a distance of 200 meters, there is a T-shaped jetty that is used for loading iron ore. It is 65 meters long and the depths near its head are 1.7 meters. On the southeast coast of the harbor there is a slipway.

The 900 meter long municipal beach of Stratoni with a very beautiful piscatorial shelter and two refreshment stands plays an important role in the village mainly during the summertime. The beach is accessible from everywhere and equipped with ramps for handicapped people from the side of the harbor.
