The beach of Agia Paraskevi is located 14 kilometers west of the capital city of Evros, near the seaside resort of Makri. The beach of Agia Paraskevi has a plethora of cafes and restaurants, attracting crowds from the capital, who prefer it for its clear blue waters. The sandy beach of Agia Paraskevi is small in length, but it is wide and has blond and fine sand. It was named after the Agia Paraskevi chapel and a festival takes place every year on July 26, the day of its celebration. The visitors will also find water sports facilities; the whole area is ideal for fishing and rifle harpooning.
