Beautiful sandy beach close to Gytheion after Agios Konstantinos. Feature of the shipwreck coast to coast, a ship aground on the coast for years.
It is the closest beach town of Gytheion and popular with its inhabitants, cooled in water just before or just after work. Gathers the elderly in the morning and families with children as the day passes.
The beach in front of the homonymous town of Elia. It's a great beach and consists of many sandy coves.
Tigania with sand and blue water, a turtle breeding site - Caretta. The beach has been awarded and has joined the network of Blue Flag beaches since 2008q except for the clear water it offers excellent facilities to accommodate swimmers.
Harbor Gytheíou, the principal port of Lakonikós gulf, consists of a natural harbor and an anchorage on the outside. Inland from the harbor Gýtheio town is situated, which is the capital of the namesake region of the prefecture of Lakonía and the seaport of Spárti, which is the capital of the prefecture.
Harbor Plýtra is on the E coasts of Xylís bay, in front of the houses of Plýtra settlement. It is the seaport of Pappadiánika settlement, which is situated about 2 miles inland to the NNE.
