Paxos Music Festival at Paxos
Exploring Paxoi Sailing Holidays area
In 1986, John Gough brought the first string quartet to Paxos in a warm summer night with a concert under the olives trees. Since then the Paxos Music Festival has become a tradition taking place every year during the last two weeks of August.
In general you will find a very closed historical relashionship to music on the Ionian Islands, which has been inspired by the Italian culture from baroque to the present.
