On the coasts of Lithakiá settlement small harbor Lithakiá has been built, which serves as a fishing shelter and has a double entrance open NE. It is formed by the windward curved S breakwater, made of natural boulders, which extends NE for about 90 m, and the curved N breakwater of 130 m in length and NE direction.
Midway between the S and N breakwaters and parallel to them is a curved breakwater of about 150 m in length and NE direction, with its N side quayed and depths of 1.5–2 m near it, and its S side protected by natural boulders. Almost in the middle of the quayed side there is a slipway.
The N and S entrances of the small harbor are open NE, have a width of 20 m and 70 m, respectively, and depths of about 4 m. Off the inner coasts of the small harbor there is a rock and a quay 20 m long.
To the S of the S breakwater there is a wooden bridge that connects it to rocky islet Ágios Sóstis (Riganáto or Loúntzi for the locals), which is 16 m high and is covered with dense vegetation. Inland from the shore are Mouzákio settlement (population 1352) and Machairádo settlement (population 796).
