Only 2 km or so south of Paxos is the island of Antipaxos; an even smaller, almost uninhabited with small vineyards. There are two beaches in the north end, Vrika and Voutoumi, Here you have some of the finest clear blue seas in the world safe for swimming and snorkeling for all ages.
South of these two beaches, there are many smaller, more private coves that can be reached without too much difficulty. Your visit to Paxos would really not be complete without a trip to Antipaxos, it is a unique experience that makes you feel heaven on earth!
Navigational Aids
The port of Paxoà (Gáios) is a natural harbor formed in front of the houses of the city of PaxoÃ, which is the capital of the island. The port can be approached by the N entrance having a width of approximately 230 m or by the S which has an entrance width of approximately 30 m and 2 m depth.
The natural port of Lákka is formed immediately E of the namesake cape, and it is open to the N with an entrance opening of approximately 0.2 miles.
In the middle of the NW shores of cove AgÃou AthanasÃou lies a jetty that extends SSW for 80 m. Depths at its head are 3.
Panagia is the islet of the Virgin Mary which is located in Gaios Bay of Paxos. The Panagia Church on the islet is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin.
The Ionian Islands are well known as one of the best destinations in the world for kayaking and canoeing. You will find both sea kayak adventures as well as tours taking you on a river or lake as in the region of Preveza for example.

The beach is close to Levrechio Logos and is ideal for snorkeling. The beach is not organized although there is tavern.
Organized beach in the northern part of the county, 12 km from Parga after the village of Agia. Enclosed bay with turquoise shades and beach pebbles.
The bay is protected and great for swimming and safe for children. Near Lakkas there are some amazing caves that are worth seeing.

It is name means a standing rock in the sea. The huge vertical rock is standing into the crystal clear waters, supplemented by the large cave on the opposite shore.
Ipapanti Cave is north from the famous Ermitis cliffs. It is an enormous cave, whose size allows boats to enter inside.
