Spilia Harbor at Spartochori
Exploring Meganisi Sailing Holidays area
Port Spilia is the other harbor of Meganisi in the Ionian Islands. Lying at the head of a deep inlet at the northwest end of the island, the harbor provides berthing for around 50 yachts on its various quays and pontoons, although the depths in the inlet are simply too great for most yachts to anchor. The harbor gets very busy in July and August and its two taverns are catering to visitors nonstop.
Shelter is good in most conditions, although strong northerlies send in a surge which could be dangerous in some parts of the harbor, especially on the quay at the southeast end.
