Vessels can anchor in the NW part of the bay, at depths of 5–10 m. In the W part of the quayed coasts of the bay, to which pleasure boats berth, there is a permanent anchorage. The holding ground consists of soft mud.

Navigational Aids
Within a small cove of unique beauty, and just 15 km from Nidri, a landscape of hills surrounds the pretty harbor of Sivota. A fishing harbor located 33 km south of the island’s capital in a beautiful bay of the same name, Sivota is an ideal place to relax and a very good spot to stop as there is an equipped port and a market.
Mikros Gialos is the charming coast of the picturesque homonymous south settlement of the island. The scenery is the perfect combination of white, azure and green since the coast is nestled within lush vegetation and is full of white small pebbles.
