Harbor Lefkádas is about 2.6 miles almost NW of the S entrance of canal Lefkádas, on the E side of Lefkáda town. Lefkáda is the capital town of Lefkáda island. It is situated in the N of the island, at the point nearest to the opposite shore of mainland Hellas (Greece).
It is also the capital of the prefecture of Lefkáda and of municipality Lefkádas. It had a population of 6,852 in 2001 and it has been designated as a traditional settlement.
The NW and W coasts of the harbor are quayed. Almost in the middle of the NW coasts lies a jetty that extends SE for 80 m, with depths of 0.5–2.5 m near it.
