Exploring Lefkada Sailing Holidays area
Sailing Tip
With fair weather in summer anchorage can be obtained 0.4 miles NNW of the lighthouse on the fortress AgÃas Mávras, at a depth of about 15 m. Deep-draught vessels should anchor farther offshore, at depths of 22–27 m. Those anchorages are affected by N and NW winds, which produce a heavy swell.
